The Red, White And Black Oak As Linked To Europeans At Yuletide

There is a strong link between folks of European ancestry and the great forests of oak trees.  Particularly the red, white and black oaks are mighty giants of the woods which signify characteristics of our kind.  The red oak is particularly valued for its bright features that are often used in making cabinets and fine furniture.  This red color can be reckoned as typifying the life blood of the European peoples.  Not surprisingly, as the will to live amongst Europeans is ebbing the red oak tree is dying off in great numbers in all of its environs.  The white oak is very useful in making utensils, implements which must endure, and wondrous flooring.  The color white can be signifying our White skin and the great work ethic and ability to endure all kinds of hardship while maintaining our intrinsic cultural features, particularly the paternal family type that is unique to us.  The black oak is seldom to be found, but makes gun stocks and woodworking items that rival the likewise prized black walnut.  This black tree is likened to the warrior spirit capable of defeating all adversaries and finds its best worldly image in the feats of the Waffen SS during the never-ending conflict known as World War II.

At the present time and in fact particularly during the past two hundred years the oak forests are challenged by non-sustainable logging and clearing for farmland.  As well during this span our innate spiritual nature has also been challenged and wanes.  One of European character need only take a long hike in a forest dominated by oak to feel his spirit revitalized.

To be sure, there are lands where the predominant tree may be a type of palm or olive surrounded by desert wastelands.  The folks who thrive in these environs are not typically Europeans, however.  A Mediterranean or Asiatic type of folk inhabits the lands where oaks are not found.  The foreign character of these people values commerce and in fact the family itself is maternal in nature.

The time of the ebbing of oak forestland can be likened to the ebbing of the day.  To be sure, great storms may blow down many oak trees; however this does not keep their saplings from renewing the life of the woods.  It is now time to celebrate a rebirth of our own spirit by taking stewardship of the oak.  Indeed, the oak tree itself is holy to the Asa god Thor.  We shall take forth the challenge to renew our life-spirit; buckle down to bear our great White duty; and meet the necessarily disciplined conflict of life with the warrior ethic of the black-clad SS men.  The renewal of our oaken woodlands is in fact a great cultural and spiritual challenge that cannot be avoided lest our people fail to survive.  Let us take our responsibility to folk and forest and be reborn!
