Financial Aid for the Underdeveloped Countries
The Nonsense of the Policy for the Development of Third World Countries

Today again, more than 4000 children will die, one child every second. They are starving. Awful? It would be much worse if those children did not die, if they grew up to have children of their own. Then the catastrophe would be much bigger. Their silent deaths preserve the world from a situation surpassing the actual dying. Stop that fatal nonsense of those ads of a dark-haired child looking at us with his hungry eyes. Stop the modern ad strategies that methodically cultivate our compassion, the consequences of which are deadly. For each child saved today by those organizations, there will be five or six in the next generation. In order to preserve only one of these miserable children the combined efforts of “Misereeor” (1) and “Brot für die Welt” (2) would not be sufficient enough.
